Deadwood has made efforts to start making the leather industry more waste efficient by using rejected and discarded skins from garment and furniture production which would be usually thrown away at the landfill. They use deadstock skins, reusable vintage clothes, and upcycled post-production waste from other leather companies to shape their products. Deadwood strives for sustainability in everything they do, including their new Cactus Collection. The collection is made out of organically grown cactus, this plant-based material is a sustainable, cruelty-free alternative as it is free from toxic chemicals, phthalates and PVC.
