    GUCCI

Gucci is an innovative and progressive fashion house with a modern approach to fashion.
In 2018 Gucci launched Gucci Equilibrium; a commitment to generate positive change for people and the planet. They state that what they stand for and how they act towards one another is at the very core of who they are. Gucci founded CHIME FOR CHANGE, a global campaign to unite and strengthen the voices speaking out for gender equality. The brand now also supports the Sundance Institute Documentary Fund; the work of non-fiction filmmakers who highlight important issues such as gender, equality, racial justice, and more. Not only this, Gucci believes that it is their duty to be sustainable, responsible, and accountable. This includes working towards a circular transformation in fashion by using more recycled and regenerated materials in their collections. They were the first brand to introduce ECONYL® regenerated nylon yarn for its products which are used in their Gucci Off the Grid, the first collection in Gucci’s circular line. They also use ‘Green Packaging’ by replacing synthetic fabrics with recycled and bio-based alternatives to make their products and packaging more responsible. The luxury fashion brand upcycles leather and textile offcuts through the ‘Gucci-Up’ program. This created 27 tons of reusable leather scraps from 2018 and 2020. Alongside this, Gucci works with Green Line, a company that collects and recycles textile scraps. Powered by creativity, Gucci is reducing their environmental impact and helping to protect nature alongside supporting people’s rights and championing inclusivity and respect.
